PL: 3,071 | Items: N/A | WC: 431 Moire had no idea how long she had been sealed in the pod, traveling aimlessly through space. All that she knew was that there was a sudden and violent jolt, instantly waking her from her long slumber as purple smoke began to billow up inside of the magic sealing pod before escaping through the cracks that had already formed. Sunlight began to pour through, but for how long Moire had been asleep, what little sunlight she did get was nearly blinding to her. So she remained inside of her pod for just a few minutes, taking her sweet time to allow her eyes to adjust to what she can see through the cracks and to allow the smoke inside to file out, giving her plenty of time to gather her thoughts at long last.
That is, if she had many thoughts to recall.
Moire didn't know why, but it seems as if her memory is failing her. All the majin can remember are vivid images of a past life that almost seems foreign to her, images portraying a purple mass enveloping another, crackling lightning between Moire's fingertips, and a deep-seated hatred for... The shinjin. Moire doesn't understand why she has such bitter hatred for them, but she can remember that she despised them with every fiber of her being. More steam was beginning to build up from within the pod, though it wasn't the pod itself that was creating it this time. Moire's pores were beginning to shoot out steam in irregular intervals, and she realizes that she's been inside for far too long. She needs to get out.
The majin's hands grab hold of each side of one crack and immediately begin to pull and tear against the two splintered pieces of metal, intent on getting out of her little prison and not be alone with such thoughts. Eventually she was able to make one last push to pull the pieces apart, ripping the pod nearly in half as all of the smoke building up inside of the pod bursts free, shooting up a cloud for practically anyone or anything to see for quite a distance. Moire crawls out of her pod, breathing heavily after expending so much energy just to escape. She didn't remember much, but she was sure that she was stronger than this before. Perhaps it was all tied to that damn pod, sapping her of her strength and memories. Perhaps she was just remembering wrong. All she knows is that she needs to figure out just where she is.

"And that's the last of them!" Casca dusted her hands off as she finished unpacking the last of the cargo truck. Under her moniker Flare, she would sometimes carry out day-to-day jobs in order to keep a low profile and have a sufficient record should Earthling enforcers ever start sniffing around for more threats since the last attack. her very human look made the task easy, all she had to do was not wear her armor and she fit right in.
"Thanks for the trouble, Miss Flare." The one elder who was helping them unload foodstuffs was gracious at least. It'd almost catch her off guard as she figured she was just doing menial labor. Didn't most people not give a crap about these workers?
"Yeah, no problem. Stay safe." The older gentleman took the last sack of grain into their storage and thanked the woman before leaving, the fiery lass returning a wave before stepping over to the driver's side. Casca tapped the side with a finger knuckle. The guy she was working for was already buckling up, waiting for the girl to climb back in the passenger side so they could go. "That's it for me."
"What? Dontcha want a ride back to town?" She had no need to head back, not only did she not need to be there to be paid it was her last stop of the day with this human.
"No, thanks. I'm fine walking. You go ahead. I expect the same pay regardless." The chubby coworker peered down at her for a moment with a little frown. Unorthodox, but if she wanted to just walk off so be it. He'd shrug and lean back in his seat. Shifting the truck into gear before taking off.
"Suite yourself!" With him gone and no further obligations to any of these little worms, the girl would dart off. Back towards the bamboo forest where she came from. It would have been a rather typical jog back to her supplies when a sudden burst of energy came from eep within. Was that... an attack pod coming down straight into the forest? The faux saiyan had to stop herself a moment with a squint past the brush to see all the smoke raising.
'Are you serious? Just, blatantly out here?' With now nearby that was, her inner monologue shot off at the possibility she'd probably be the best bet if one of her people happened to crashland or something approximating that. And though she couldn't sense who's energy was coming from that pod she could sense it was more than what Humans usually put up. So without more deliberation, she hopped on over. Weaving past bamboo to get close to the big crater these pods left in the earth.
What she found past the deep smoke was not what she was expecting. Majin was a rare specimen, extremely dangerous. She stepped over to the crater's edge and cautiously looked down at the purple being and her wrecked ship. She'd be smart to continue playing into her disguise with unknowns like this.
"Hey! You good down there?"

WC: 398 | TWC: 829 Once Moire had finally crawled her way out of that magical pod, she was able to take in the sights of the planet... At least, she would if she wasn't in a crater. Maybe the reason her memory is so hazy is because of that crash, hitting herself so hard that her memories were jostled around too much. It didn't make the most sense given her biology, but she's just trying to think of reasons as to why this is happening to her. As she finally gets around to standing on her own two feet, brushing off any dust that might've stuck to her clothing as she crawled out, her attention is immediately taken by the voice of someone calling from above the crater. Her glowing red eyes immediately dart over to the origin and...
Her vision might still be a bit blurry, but she could at least tell that the one speaking was a human. From what Moire could make out she could spot her dark skin and flaming orange-red hair, but not much else unless she got closer. "I... I think?" she responds, though perhaps that's not entirely true. It had been so long since she's been able to move that her movement was still rather wobblily as she tried to get closer towards the outside of the crater. Her legs really begin to quake for a bit as she exclaims, "GAH! Alright, flying it is, then." After a few brief moments the majin begins to slowly rise up from the ground and... well, it was about as disasterous as walking had been. Her rise was entirely a rise as every now and then she would suddenly bounce down a bit, likely due to how she couldn't properly focus.
Wanting to keep whatever pride she has with her, she attempts to distract from her shaky flight as she asks the stranger, "W-where exactly am I anyway? I've been traveling for so long, I imagine, and I'm not quite sure where I was take-" Before she could finish, however, just as she was about to finally make her way out of the crater, the majin immediately loses focus once again, sending her back down to the earth beneath, all while she keeps trying to refocus herself and kick her flight back on again so that she doesn't have as much of a hard landing.

"Heh." Casca watched this creature look over at her with a dazed look. Whatever that pod was made of clearly wasn't made to be smashing into planets like a proper Saiyan pod. The exotic clothing also didn't tell her much about where this Majin came from other than NOT here. And judging by the way she struggled and questioned where she was, this wasn't some intentional landing. Normally she wouldn't care to help strangers like this but it did make her look bad if she didn't try.
"Hey!" The young human would quickly step over to catch the Majin, arm wrapped around the back before she could hit the ground and roll down the crater from impact. There was a practiced fluidity in her motion. Not to mention the strength behind it. "The crash must have scrambled you to hell and back. Let's get you onto the grass proper." Being helping Susan for once, Casca would opt to lift the Majin with her own flight. Carrying her by the waist with the other hand. It would be a quick drop over to the side of the crater where the bamboo started to thicken in density, letting the purple woman down as careful as she could manage.
"Sit your ass down. If you didn't know, this is Earth. Name's Flare, and you're lucky that dinky thing you call a ship over there didn't land on someone's house." Once settled in, the dark lady would straighten back up and cross her arms. "By the way you're acting about all this, it looks like someone shoved you inside. Curious. Got a concussion? Anything affecting memory, however that works for you Majin." Amnesia wouldn't be the first thing she jumped to. Temporary dazing came with a block and fuzzy memories. Casca calls back to the basic training of failed pod landings and crouched a bit closer to them. This one felt a bit strong for Casca but she wasn't concerned by a little discrepancy like that.
"Know your name at least? The last thing you did this morning? Anything like that?" Trying to ring that metaphorical bell. 'Traveling for so long' could mean a lot of things, even if it meant she had to stare at the outside of space. But any answer was better than failing to remember anything.

WC: 460 | TWC: 1,289 Just as Moire was able to run back into the ground and mark her second crash landing of the day, the human swoops right in to stop her from falling. She grabs hold of the majin's back tightly, her grip quite firm, signaling to Moire already that this human was certainly extraordinary. From what she can remember, humans were never really the strongest out there, but this one has already proven herself to be the exception, and a bit benevolent as well given how she stopped her from getting a face full of dirt. The stranger decides to take her over to a grassy patch, grabbing hold of her hip to better secure her and giving Moire the opportunity to get a good look at her face. Despite the blurry vision she's currently experiencing, Moire's little rescuer certain was easy on the eyes... "T-thank you," she mutters as the two descend towards the ground.
Soon the majin's body is slowly and carefully lowered back to the ground, and her attention immediately snapping away from the human's own gaze as she hopes she didn't catch her staring or anything. Moire decides to lie down on the ground as the stranger rather bluntly requests and leans her back against some bamboo before she introduces herself as Flare. After her comment regarding the ship and her memories, Moire needed a moment to explain each and every single question. "Ah... well, that's not a ship. A prison is what that is..." she bitterly responds, venom in her tone due to her containment, "Someone... Or, was it some people... Regardless, they put me in there, and I had been inside for... I don't know how long." Her gaze became a bit more distant as Flare asked about the majin's memories, but after a few moments she collects herself as she runs her hand through one of her tendrils.
"No... no I don't think anything like... a concussion would do that to me. My kind, the majin, work far differently. Perhaps it was something I considered, but... I think it might've been a side effect of being trapped in that thing for so long." Her eyes trail back towards the ground for a bit, taking in the little sight of the grass dotting the ground beneath her, her other hand brushing the many tiny strands. It had been so long since she's felt anything aside from the inside of the container. Her attention rises back towards Flare as she asks if she can recall anything. "My name is... It's Moire. I was about to say Grim, but, that didn't sound right. As for this morning, well, I was still stuck in that pod. What year is it? is it still year 879?"

Thanks, huh?
Casca never thought of the glancing looks as much more than admiring one's strength than anything. And she got plenty of those back home, even from the ones you'd think hate her for her being. This Majin was a curveball though. Having just met and in a daze, she'd have no real sense for the faux saiyan's character beyond her helping hand here. And she was hardly THAT strong, nothing physical like a fight had occurred to test her mettle either. The girl would catch her looking though, smirking down at her and throwing a wink up at Moire before sitting her down. Listening as the Majin tried recalling what had gone down.
After a few general nods, the girl stood back up and stared at this magic prison, as she called it. Once the smoke cleared it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to check it out. Perhaps without the Majin knowing if that was an option.
"Gotcha. Hmm. Well, how WOULD a Majin lose their memory, Moire? Might help if I knew just what you were beyond a name and face." As for the date, she didn't really want to believe beings could just casually be trapped for over a hundred years and still come out as well-formed as this one. She turned back to Moire, hands falling to her hips as she sized her up.
"No wonder you can't stand on your own. Over a hundred years off, ma'am. It's 980. I'd be pissed if I had plans myself." But she wasn't the one lost in time. "Pissed enough to go after whoever put me in that little pod." She paused for a moment and frowned. Not at Moire, directly, but just in thought as she mindlessly pondered why someone would think it was a smart idea to trap a being like a Majin in what was basically a time capsule, to be sent somewhere to do whatever it wanted.
"Closest town is a couple of miles out. I was headed there if you need help. Don't think many others will take as kindly to you or just send some ambulance over to pick you up and force you through a whole process." She offered. Might as well, and who knows, an amnesiac could prove useful if she went along with it. "Or you could wait out here and move out on your own. Never know when the next opportunists come around to try snatching up lost women in the woods."

WC: 469 | TWC: 1,758 Of course Moire was too careless with staring. Once the majin realizes that Flare had caught her staring and winked at her, she immediately looks away, the coloration of her face growing darker from the embarrassment. At least if she ever brings this up with her, Moire can blame it on her being dazed and not... She shakes her head as she gets to answering the human's questions. Once she gave Flare the rundown for what's going on, she interrogates Moire on how a majin would lose their memories and how they would work. She pauses for a moment, her eyes trailing back over towards the crater as she explains, "I don't fully know how... But the only thing I could think of that makes complete sense would be the container itself. It sapped me of my strength and magic, and perhaps it had also somehow taken something else from me... But I'm not completely sure. It makes some sense, given how my kind is practically made of pure magic taken physical form."
She looks back up to Flare as she gives her the current year, her pitch black eyes widening in surprise at the realization that she had been trapped for over a century. "A... A century?!" she exclaims before attempting to rise up from the ground, only for her legs to start wobbling once again. Knowing her current condition, though, she lets herself back down on the ground once again, though the stress of now knowing that she's been gone for the past one hundred years causes purple steam to slowly bellow out of her pores once again in little bursts. Her thoughts once again trail back to the shinjin, and the steam begins to blow out faster and in greater amounts until she closes her eyes and attempts to clear her mind once again.
Moire slowly breathes in and out, slowing the rate of steam coming out of her until it finally comes to a halt. Her eyes open once again as Flare lets Moire know that she plans on heading into town, and that she could either come along to the town or stay here and move out on her own. A bit flustered at the suggestion that she couldn't handle bandits, she attempts to get up from her spot and states, "You think I can't defend myself against lowly scoundrels? I am Majin Moire, and I wouldn't be-" As anticipated, her legs begin to wobble once again, and this time she falls right back onto her rear, a grunt escaping from her mouth as she landed. "Alright, I'll... I'll come along. Do you have a walking stick, or..." Moire grabs hold of the bamboo behind her and uses it to slowly shuffle herself up off of the ground once more.

"Yeah, whole ass century."
That was a whole lot of nonsense Casca didn't know the first thing about. Pure Magical beings? And something that sapped power couldn't last so long unless it was just as weird and out there as that was. And why did said magic form into a body like that? Quirky as hell, this woman. Was steaming mad to the point of literally blowing hot air like some teapot. Desperate and angry as she was at the thought of ages passing her, she couldn't force herself back up without threatening another fall.
"You were saying? Haha, come here." She spoke back up as the majin fell a last time. Stubborn as they came, Casca would eventually come over and pull Moire up with a hand. Waiting a moment to see if the woman's daze had come and gone before sighing and bending over. Helping her stand against the bamboo for a moment before effortlessly sweeping the girl off her feet. Cradling her between both arms. There was little cause for concern when she could lift entire buildings if she needed. A simple person being held wasn't going to wear her out.
"Nope, but I can carry you out if you want. Just like carrying the groceries." She'd pause a moment for any objections before wiggling her brow and hopping away from the crater in one bound. She wasn't kidding when she said the next town would be out for a while. Casca walked the pair back to the dirt road and started down it again with the Majin in tow.
"So you said you were a magical being. You do some magic tricks for a living or what?" She'd bring up mid-pace, the fiery lass looking back over at the Majin. "- Or is your lot of magic more destructive? Can't imagine a proud woman such as yourself goes around trying to impress toddlers with your powers." Nothing in the forest seemed to dare come close to the roads or these powers as they walked, leaving the atmosphere empty and void of most background noise outside the sparse truck heard in the distance here and there.

WC: 578 | TWC: 2,336 This day certainly was full of many surprises for the majin, whether they be sudden realizations about the amount of time has passed, the memories fading from her mind, or, well, Flare in general. She should be rather fortunate that someone like her came around to assist Moire in her time of need, but she certainly was a bit... Well, she didn't quite know how to describe Flare, especially as she comes over and picks her right up off of the ground. Before she could react in time and grab hold of her hand, Flare decides to bend over and instead scoop Moire off of the ground, catching her by surprise immediately. "W-what are you..." she questions as she is lifted up and cradled in the human's arms, her face flushed in a near instant by how forward she was being.
It was quite embarrassing in many different ways. It reveals how little strength she has in her legs and how she needs something or someone to keep her moving, but to be in Flare's arms is... She is getting some mixed feelings about all of what she's doing. Her pride was being challenged as a result of this action, but on the other hand... Moire didn't want to say no for some reason. Perhaps her mind had come to the realization that she needs Flare to carry her to town because of how weak she is. Yes, that's right, there isn't any other reason behind it. If that is the case, her mind argues, then why isn't she opting to instead just use her shoulder or cut one of the pieces of bamboo as a makeshift walking stick? Moire again argues in her head that it's because... It's because...
...
"Onward..." She mutters, her face still flushed and facing away from Flare as the two of them start heading into town. Her gaze faces outwards towards the nigh empty path and sky lying in front, leaving little for Moire to stare at as her gaze slowly starts to fall back towards the only real thing of interest for a long while. As soon as she looks back at Flare, the human begins asking about the sort of magic that Moire is capable, to which she explains, "As if it would merely be magic tricks... But yes, my kind can possess all sorts of magical abilities. For example, I can make... this." She shifts her hands around before attempting to conjure up something small in her hands, and after a brief flash of black light, a small crystal ball appears that lands right on top of her stomach. Moire instantly grabs hold of the orb before it rolls right off of her before mentioning, "I can create many different objects, but I of course also possess some magic with some kick behind it."
She cups the ball with her left arm, making sure she doesn't push on Flare too hard as she was still being carried before extending her right arm out and moving her hand upwards. Purple lightning begins to dance around between her fingertips, shrinking and growing as she brings her fingers closer and pulls them farther. "I, er, do not believe it is wise for me to use it for now. If I can barely walk or fly, well, I can only imagine what attempting to fire lightning would do. Wouldn't want to electrocute you after just meeting you now, would I?"

Casca didn't seem nearly as bothered by how forwards she must look to the Majin. Clearly enjoying herself and feeling needed, even to a being to who she held little loyalty. She would not sugarcoat her thoughts as much as the Amnesiac would; Moire was beautiful, almost dangerously so, like it were some trap devised by the Galaxy to pull her into something. It was maybe part of the reason, outside of keeping the face up as an Earthling, that she was being courteous to her. Holding her tight with little to no objection.
Meanwhile, Moire was shy. Not even looking at her for a while until popped the question. Eliciting the right response she wanted out of the Majin and looking down to chuckle at her. It was fun messing with people who had to deal with you, and the offense she took over and over again to how bluntly or rude the faux saiyan proposed questions put a little smirk on her face. The stop was worth it just to talk with someone not human on this planet.
"Huh, that's neat." Definitely more advanced than her simple hellfire, at least for now. Conjuring items out of nowhere and electricity at one's fingertips. Casca trained hard, and that did include making sure she could hone what she did know. Hands full, it'd be a little difficult to demonstrate in from of the Majin. "But yeah, probably right. If you can't help your legs then drawing too much from that magic probably won't do you much favors." She only understood how her own worked... But maybe it was similar enough that she could relate. Still wanting to show off, the redhead would concentrate for a moment. Relaxing her abdomen which the orb Moire held sunk back a little again.
Closing her eyes, a small whip of flame would spring up in front of the pair. Starting out as no longer than a string, it soon grew and twirled in the ambient air. Simple finger gestures as she carried Moire would suffice in a little light show as they walked. A big smirk plastered on her face as the work is much more refined than her usual combative application.
"I can do some things with flame. It's not often I get to show people. It's kinda rare here. Don't know if I can make ANYTHING like that orb there, but I'm pretty good at this." The flame would move and wiggle about. Mimicking a wavelength, a slithering snake, and a few other motions before fizzling out. Its small size meant there was very little trouble snuffing it out once she let it go like this. "Never tried making anything else, actually. Now that I think about it." She looked back down at the Majin and tilted her head a little. Squinting in thought.
"Say, that could be a way you repay me for all this hard work. Get you a bed to rest in and carry you to said bed, maybe teach me how you do the more general stuff. If that can be done."

WC: 539 | TWC: 2,875 It was very much clear that, after looking over Flare and taking herself into account, Moire and the human were quite a bit different, with Flare being far more bold compared to how the majin is, at least at the current moment. If she still had strength, she was sure that she could stand on her own two feet, but she can't even do that. As the two move on, however, the majin was at least able to adjust to being carried around, trying to get as comfortable as she can as Flare continues her tight grip on her. The occasional chuckle and smirk didn't even bother her so much anymore as she reciprocated the smirk and was starting to warm up more properly to her, though now that she thinks about it, she might be warming up both figuratively and quite literally.
Once Moire gave her little magic demonstration to Flare, she agrees to what Moire had to share regarding using her magic in her current state before something rather interesting happened. First, another moment of embarrassment hits Moire as the ball she was holding onto started to slip as Flare tucked in her abdomen. Wanting to grab hold of the crystal ball, she shifts her hand over to grab hold of it, pressing the back of her hand right up against the human's stomach, her cheeks puffing up from the touch. Immediately she shoots her gaze into a different direction, hoping that Flare doesn't notice as the majin realizes that there was now a bit of a fire show in front of her. A single strand of flame began to slither around in the air, dancing about as Moire's eyes continue tracking the display, her attention completely taken by the fire and forgetting about whatever else was happening.
Flare explains that she has the ability to manipulate and conjure flames, and that she doesn't get the opportunity to show it off, immediately making Moire's mind race at the thought of meeting another practitioner of magic. The flames are eventually put out, and so Moire's gaze immediately moves back over towards Flare's as she begins asking, "You possess magical capabilities?! How did you do it? Did you have a mentor? Did it come to you naturally!? Oh, do you have some sort of secret heritage!?" She waits in baited breath for the answers to her rapid fire questions, the majin unable to contain herself around Flare.
Afterwards, Flare then mentions a way for Moire to pay her back. Moire couldn't help but raise her brow in intrigue as she mentions getting the majin a bed and plopping her in it before teaching her more about magic. Once again she is given a wide mixture of feelings, as on the one hand she was quite excited about teaching someone about magic, but on the other hand the whole 'putting her in a bed' part didn't exactly help with Moire's currently crowded feelings, her imagination already moving at mach 5. "Y-yes! To the bed! I mean, the magic! Not that I don't want the bed, it's just that I... uh... let's just..." Perhaps she really does need rest in order to properly gather any thoughts whatsoever.

'Whoa.' Internal dialogue as she was busy focusing. Casca's built. Even the light touch from the back would feel the tense muscles of her abs trying to relax as she did her own magic. She didn't notice it much instantly, but a shiver was sent through her body after a second or so. The flame she was using to demonstrate disrupted a moment by the strange sensation of touch before she could put it out. Her straight attitude falters for a moment as she thinks about that light touch. Eventually shaking her head and blinking herself back to the path.
Then the actual reactions he was hoping for started pouring out of the Majin like an excited fanatic. Those crimsons turned back down to her with a simultaneous looking of bewilderment and a smug grin. Eyebrows raised at the rather assuming asks.
"Hah. No mentor here. All natural. I'm not exactly JUST human after all." She did good to keep her real feelings about that down while she was Flare. "As easily as I breathe air, the flames came to me and I've only gotten stronger from them. Give me a few guesses from what heritage." She'd posit in return to entertain the pair, adjusting her grip underneath the lady a moment as their walking came to a fork. Cassca took a right at the head, knowing just where to go to bypass the longer trail. It would, in turn, cost them a paved road. This path would slowly give way to simple padded dirt and sparse footstep. Luckily, she wasn't really needing to take the winding road with the truck this time.
Moire definitely needed some rest. She read more into the faux saiyan's suggestion than she probably intended, and while cute, she only met the creature. It would be fun to tease her about it while she was so out of commission. Casca whistled and shrugged her shoulders.
"Hey, normally I wouldn't argue. HOWEVER-" She insinuated with a cheeky grin, prying her gaze away for a moment to look onward. A few bamboo shoots taking up room on this path now. "- I'm not here to take advantage of some woman lost in her mind. You need a PROPER rest. And I have a little room I paid for the weekend out here while I worked. Lucky you." For some of these trail-blocking bamboo, Casca would raise a leg to kick the top, much shorter a shoot than the actual dense brush, up and away. Leaving only a small broken piece in its place.
"Ehh, someone else will fix that for real." In the far distance as they walked, the distant sounds of vehicles and general traffic picked up. Yet they could not see any such infrastructure just yet from the woods.
"You guys drink water, right? Eat? Gotta ask so I can grab some as we head in." Hey, she didn't know Majin didn't have a proper headcases for concussions. This was a completely honest question from her.

WC: 629 | TWC: 3,504 As Moire watched the flames move about in the air, she couldn't help but wonder why they started to flicker a bit during the performance. It didn't really seem like part of the display, and she looks back over to Flare briefly to see what was up. For the moment, she realizes what she was doing and immediately pulls the crystal ball and her hand away from her abs, albeit briefly. Even if it was just with the back of her hand they felt so... nice, and warm too. Perhaps a bit of a side effect from being able to manipulate the flames. She turns her attention back to the fire show as her hand slowly trails back to Flare's body once more as if automatic. The display did its job distracting Moire from reacting to her subconscious actions.
Once the majin started to prattle on about the potential origins of Flare's own power, she mentions that it's all natural and requests that she takes a few guesses. Her smile fades as she takes her right hand and rubs her chin in thought, wondering just it is that gives her the power. "Let's see... fire powers, red hair... Could you be part elemental? No, wait, that probably isn't how that works..." she mentions before she goes back to pondering. "A saiyan! No, no, I'm pretty sure that doesn't explain the magic... Ooooh," Moire eventually comes to a realization that there was one kind of heritage that makes perfect sense, "Demon! Am I right?! Oh I've always wanted to meet a demon in person ever since I..." Wait, how could she this much about demons, or elementals, or saiyans even? Was she... some sort of student before?
Her thought process is interrupted as Flare shifts her grip as the pair come to a fork, with Moire's carrier choosing the less developed path, making the experience a bit more rocky than usual, pushing Moire's body all around and against Flare's own, once again reminding the majin that her hand is pressed against her once again.
With Moire's confusion as to what Flare meant, she begins teasing the majin before reassuring her that her intent is getting her the rest she needs. Yeah, rest... It's exactly what she needs now, what with all of these thoughts swirling in her head. Whatever's going on with her would probably be fixed by the next day, and perhaps then she can act 'normal' around someone else and not someone who completely bumbles and fumbles. "Aha... Of course..." Moire mutters, her eyes trailing back up to Flare as she proceeds to kick down some bamboo that were in their path, once more pressing the majin's body inward. Her eyes trail towards the ground as the lone bamboo shoot lies on the road. It was perfect for her to use as a walking stick, and she can finally move independent and won't have to be constantly carried around by...
...
Moire leaves the bamboo shaft completely behind as Flare asks the majin if they need to drink or eat, which was a bit of a complicated answer. "Drink? Oh no, we don't require anything like that. Food neither, but... let's just say we still really do like the taste. We can't help ourselves, especially around sweets." Now that she thinks about it, she hasn't had anything to eat in, well, over a century. It would be nice to have food to chow down on, but she doesn't have money on herself, conjuring up money is risky as they approach the town, and she didn't exactly want to break Flare's account. "N-not that you need to get anything for me," she attempts to reassure, though her face gave way to her innate desire for food.

"Mmm..." Casca held her tongue while the Majin gave it to her best. Not giving away anything in body language as to where she actually landed. Funny how she'd assume Saiyan of all things at one moment, but alas, only in name. Plus it'd be an awkward cover to blow if she just brought that up. No, in time, if she saw this Majin useful in some capacity her real Saiyan given name could be revealed. She wouldn't lie about her heritage at least, stumbling onto Demon after a few tries. Casca gave Moire a few moments to perhaps second-guess herself before smiling.
"Well, you just met one that's not very connected to that demon side. Sorry to disappoint." Casca figured the memories were just coming back properly with how she seemed surprised by herself, even momentarily. "BUT, yes. Demonfire, as I've heard it called. I'm sure I could do other tricks if I had an idea where to start though." And while she couldn't say she always wanted to meet a Majin in person, she wouldn't complain about having a looker around for a while.
They'd push past the least dense part of the bamboo forest, a clearing seen up in the distance with some sort of gathering heard ahead. A few cars, the cacophony of humans speaking. Where they were coming from town-side was more an old hunting trail so they'd be walking by a country club on their way further into town where she rest. Shouldering some of these last branches past the two of them, daylight would greet them. On the outskirts now, she'd just have to walk around town carrying a purple lump of Majin with her. No doubt she'd get looks as soon as she started certain people.
"Sweets?" The Majin explained themselves. No need for food or drink. A little weird, but if they were magic they certainly could just magic themselves up any sustenance anyways. A taste for sweets was made specific, causing Casca to raise her brows. All things considered, any of the options would probably cost her the same across the board. "Sure. I can grab some for you after I get you settled in. Shouldn't be a hard ask, not like they cost an absurd amount of Zeni." Despite Moire's light protesting, Casca would insist on this. Even considering it may be part of recovery or whatever the woman needed at this point beyond rest. Maybe it fueled them or whatever.
A few guys would whistle over at the pair as she pass the country club and stepped properly onto a sidewalk. She was going to ignore them at first, but another one shouted from the faux porch of the wooden country club building.
"HEY! You purty ladies stayin' fer awhile?" Moire would be shaken for a second by Casca's sudden stop. There were a lot of things to consider right then, but to avoid any conflict while the Majin was here and while she was known to be staying in town she'd loudly scoff before turning on her feet. Facing them long enough to glare at the gents looking them over before smiling. The deflection was in order rather than escalation.
"Long enough to kick your asses for asking." She warned, starting to walk backward with the Majin in tow before spinning back around to forward face the way she walked. Surprisingly, even with the strange center of balance, Casca did all of these without risk of falling or losing her grip on Moire. Even repositioning her hands to make the movement less awkward for the purple lass. With no further distractions, they'd broach the main town streets. ... The place was small, as described, so there wasn't that much in terms of traffic. Town center was within spitting distance of them arriving, as was this L-shaped Motel that Casca spun around towards.
"You got a preference for sweets or will any do?" The fiery lass casually brought up as she pushed herself into an almost vacant lot in front of the building.

WC: 638 | TWC: 4,142 Though Moire was rather confident in demon being her third and final answer, the lack of any response from Flare plus the straight face she had on made her start to second guess. She was about to return to thinking what the answer could be before she suddenly smiles and admits to her demon heritage despite not being that in touch with it. "I knew it," Moire states after failing twice in guessing, "That kind of magic is quite a bit different from what I can do. I'm not quite sure how I know that, but I do. Hmm, I guess my memory is just a bit patchy know. Regardless, I would love to help you experiment with your capabilities." Of course she had to pay back Flare somehow, and now that she's been given the answer to the origins of her magic, perhaps now she can get a good idea on where to start for her.
At long last the sun beams down on the pair once again, and Moire is greeted by the little human civilization in front of her. Cars are bustling about, people are speaking to each other in deep conversation, and both she and Flare were just about to get inside of the town and finally get some rest. Once Moire answered Flare's question regarding whether she needed food or water, she questions the sweets part a bit before stating that she'll get them for her, mentioning that they won't cost too much. "Ah..." once again she was about to protest, but the thought of sweets was a tad bit much for her to protest, especially since it's been far too long since she's had them. "You're far too kind," she replies, settling back into Flare's arms as they enter the final stretch.
Moire's attention is immediately grabbed, however, by the sudden whistling of people, her gaze looking over to see a whole bunch of other human men looking at the pair. She supposes that it must be a strange sight for them, seeing another of their kind carrying a majin around and they might've been signaling to the others to come take a look. The majin didn't mind all of the looks, but it was a bit strange to her. Maybe it's just a cultural thing with humans or something. One of the men calls the pair 'purty ladies,' whatever that was supposed to mean, and Flare comes to a rather sudden halt. She glances over at the men and, feeling that she needs to speak up and clarify, states, "Well I do need some rest, and-" Before she could finish, Flare shouts over at the men that she was going to 'kick their asses.' Oh dear, was what they said rude?
Flare suddenly spins the two around, and though her grip on Moire was solid, the majin couldn't help but wrap her arms around Jackie's shoulders for extra security, the crystal ball that she once had in her arm disappearing in a purple puff of smoke. The ride went back to being smooth once again, though of course Moire unconsciously kept her arms around Flare, just in case...
Soon the pair finally enter the town officially after getting past the outskirts, and they make their way towards the town square and, more specifically, the motel the two were staying at. Flare asks Moire if there were any particular sweets that she liked, to which Moire thinks for a moment. Just about anything with an obscene amount of sugar will do for her, but if she were to pick a favorite... "Cakes..." she mentions, "Especially cupcakes. I-I don't need much, just one or two will do, I assure you." There she goes again, attempting to reassure Flare that she doesn't need to go all out on the spending.
